The
Mystery of the Dead Sea Scrolls
| This
blockbuster exhibition featured twelve Dead Sea scroll fragments,
and many antiquities from the Israel Antiquities Authority, along
with rare books from the Library of Congress and the New York Public
Library. For the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco installation,
the exhibition was expanded to include paintings, works on paper,
decorative arts, textiles, and antiquities from the Museums’
collection that illuminated the biblical stories found in the scrolls. |
