A
series of quilt installations turned the circulation space between
two buildings into a popular and eye-catching exhibition area that
drew visitors deeper into the museum. Each featured six to eight quilts
with common stories or patterns. Other installations in the series
included rose quilts, commemorative quilts, and Afro-American quilts.
