Michigan
Melissa Leventon will be a keynote speaker at the Handweavers Guild
of America's biennal conference. Leventon will also be jurying the
conference's wearable art exhibition and will be giving two seminars
on wearable art and on collecting.
October, 2006, de Young Museum, 50 Hagiwara Tea Garden Drive, San
Francisco
Melissa Leventon will present a series of three costume- and textile-related
lectures, covering the museum's tapestry collection and the clothing
pictured in many of the paintings on display at the de Young Museum
and the California Palace of the Legion of Honor. Check back later
this spring for specific lecture dates and times.
